Our Lady Queen of Angels is a catholic church whose desire was to install a new pipe organ and an additional reredos that would be minimally impactful to the pipe organ sound. MCH performed acoustical measurements and paper studies of the reredos’ impact on the sound of the organ, in particular regarding the low frequency response. Acoustical criteria and recommendations for design adjustment were offered.
