The recording studio suite is designed to support a wide range of music production, recording, and instructional activities, and features a large-format mixing console in a dedicated control room with a viewing window into the adjacent recording space and Dolby Atmos immersive audio mixing. The control room incorporates a live-end/dead-end acoustic scheme, with high-performance acoustic treatments strategically arranged to provide a controlled listening environment while maintaining a sense of spaciousness. The Control Room is sized to accomodate additional student seating in the rear. Exceptional sound and vibration isolation between recording and performance spaces, along with an extremely quiet HVAC system, ensure optimal conditions for recording, mixing, and immersive audio production.

MCH provided full scope acoustic and media systems design for this Recording Suite as part of the overall Performing Arts Building at CSU San Bernardino's campus.
