SDSU’s renovated Main Stage Theatre, new Prebys Stage, Sound Lab, and outdoor amenities space breathe new life into the campus's Arts District. These additions provide the students and faculty with new and improved facilities to host concerts, dance performances, theatrical performances, as well as outdoor entertainment.

MCH provided both acoustical and audiovisual consultation from the feasibility study in 2017 through design and construction.

The fully renovated 350-seat Main Stage Theatre was improved with new wall shaping, overhead reflectors, a quiet HVAC system, new AV equipment and improved sightlines.

A short walk away is the new 155-seat Prebys Theatre, a flexible performance space equipped for dance, theater and music.

Attached to the Prebys Stage (an experimental theater) is an outdoor stage area/lawn where patrons can enjoy outdoor performances.
