Kaiser Medical Office Building
Kaiser Permanente
Kaiser Permanente’s Market Street Medical Office Building offers a wide array of medical services to its Ventura County members.
Being conveniently located directly off of the 101 Freeway comes with challenges. Freeway noise, along with large expanses of windows, required careful design to provide a comfortably quiet environment for patients, especially those who might need long hours of treatment, such as in the facility’s Oncology department.
In addition to its Oncology department, the facility has a diverse selection of services including Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Plastic Surgery, Radiology, and Urgent Care, among others.
In 2018, the project was awarded with ENR’s Best Southern California Health Care Project, CA’s Orange County Design Award, KP’s Design Excellence Award in Innovation, WWCCA’s Project of the Year, and is a LEED Silver facility.
MCH provided acoustical consulting on mechanical noise and vibration control, interior and exterior sound isolation, and environmental noise.
