Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health - Las Vegas
Cleveland Clinic
Operated by the Cleveland Clinic, this facility is dedicated to the research of neurological illness. The unmistakably Gehry-designed buidling features 13 examination rooms, practitioner and researcher offices, a "Museum of the Mind", and a community auditorium. It also houses the headquarters for Keep Memory Alive, the Las Vegas Alzheimer’s Association, and the Las Vegas Parkinson’s Disease Association, serving as a national resource for research on Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, and ALS with an emphasis on prevention, early detection, and education. The facility operates in Las Vegas's 61 acre Symphony Park. MCH provided full scope acoustical design for this demanding project where the tenets of good acoustics, especially for the medical services portion, were severely tested by the severe geometries.
