Coyote Center
Chandler-Gilbert Community College
The Chandler-Gilbert Coyote Center sits prominently along the southwest edge of campus and serves as a gathering place for the community and a gateway to the college’s campus. The facility is among only a few in the nation to blend athletics and academics with enrollment and student services.
Touted as a “one-stop” student services area, the Center includes a 2,500-seat arena surrounding a 10,000-square-foot gymnasium, a fitness center, athletic offices and locker rooms, classrooms and testing facilities, administration offices and conference rooms. The Sports Performance Center hosts strength and conditioning classes and the Human Performance Lab is a learning space for exercise science and strength nutrition with specialized equipment for metabolism testing. Other program spaces include general classrooms, team locker rooms, training room, equipment room, and faculty and coaches offices. The project pursued LEED Gold certification.
MCH provided full-scope AV and acoustical consulting services.
