Behavioral Health Facility
Kaiser Permanente’s 36,000 SF Sylmar Medical Office Building renovation was completed in 2019 and provides Behavioral Health Services with specialties in Addiction Medicine and Psychiatry to its members.
This facility is the first behavioral health facility within Kaiser Permanente to feature a public square, which creates an open, inviting environment.
In addition to its many consultation rooms, the facility easily accomodates group therapy with its nine group rooms, ranging from small to large, designed for exceptional privacy between rooms and to corridors.
An electronically deployable partition in the Large Group Room maximizes sound isolation between the two sides, offering the facility further flexibility.
MCH provided detailed acoustical consulting addressing concerns for speech privacy, sound isolation, and mechanical systems noise control.
