The facility serves the greater Sacramento region as well as the immediate UCD community of students and faculty. Included are two variable acoustics halls: the 1800seat Jackson Hall (reverberation time 1.4s-2.4s), orchestra pit, custom orchestra shell and two balconies and a 300seat Studio Theater with flat floor, movable seating and outdoor access. MCH provided full-scope acoustical and audiovisual consulting services including accommodating a major freight line that runs within 400ft of the complex.
