Ronald Reagan Federal Courthouse

Santa Ana, CA

The Ronald Reagan Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse were designed to accommodate the projected growth of the federal courts in the Santa Ana, California area through 2021. The 602,000gsf, 11-story, high-security structure includes a complex of 29 courtrooms for the 14th District Court, bankruptcy and magistrate courts, judges’ chambers, clerks’ offices, jury rooms, conference rooms, libraries, dining facilities, several federal executive tenants agency offices, a penthouse, retail space and two levels of below-grade parking for 166 cars. MCH provided full-scope acoustical consulting for the entire project owned by the General Services Administration.


Completed in 1998 for $123M this General Services Administration building's architects were ZGF (design) and Gruen Associates (executive).
